Through the Biblia Fácil (Easy Bible) program, radio, and its printed materials, Nuevo Tiempo, the Spanish Christian TV channel and radio station for Central and South America, is impacting lives, providing spiritual guidance and messages of hope that promote growth, peace, and personal transformation.
Magy Tuitise vividly remembers the moment she sought to fill an emotional void by accepting the first "I love you" she ever heard. What seemed like an opportunity to feel loved ended up profoundly affecting her self-esteem. The lies, betrayal, and mistreatment gradually eroded her confidence until it reached a breaking point, she shared.
“There was a moment when I no longer wanted to live,” she confesses. Thoughts of worthlessness and abandonment began to invade her mind. She felt alone, even when surrounded by people. The emptiness in her heart was so strong that she came to believe that no one cared about her.
When the situation escalated to physical abuse, something inside her reacted. She decided to carry on, to keep working, to maintain her routine. But inside she felt disconnected, moving forward without feeling.
That's when she made a different decision: to open her heart to God and acknowledge that she needed help. This search led her to explore spiritual content on social media and digital platforms, until she found the teachings of Easy Bible.
What began as a simple video presentation evolved into a continuous learning process. The clarity of the explanations and their biblical foundation allowed her to grasp aspects of the Word that she hadn't understood before, even though she was already reading the Bible on her own. As the months passed, this teaching began to fill the void that had been with her for so long.
Through magazines, videos, and the programming on Nuevo Tiempo radio, Tuitise found constant companionship. On her commutes to work or back home, she listens to the station, and often the Easy Bible study happens to be on.
“There are times when I say, ‘I can’t take it anymore,’” she shares. “But then I turn on the radio and hear a word of hope. Then I feel like God is speaking to me,” she adds.
Today, Tuitise describes Nuevo Tiempo as a light in the darkness she once felt. Where there was once emptiness and sadness, there is now direction and peace. She also expresses her gratitude for initiatives like Ángeles de Esperanza (Angels of Hope), which allow this content to reach people who also need spiritual guidance.
“Nuevo Tiempo is that complement that helps me better understand the Word of God,” she affirms gratefully.
