The General Conference aims to mobilize one million Seventh-day Adventist Church members on the OneVoice27 initiative’s Global Launch Day, taking place September 5. Each member is encouraged to post how Jesus can make "All things new" on their personal social media pages using the hashtag #allthingsnew—a reference to Revelation 21:5.
Around the world, churches will hold themed services, sharing the strategy and motivation behind the campaign. The OneVoice27 website, which will provide training resources, inspiration, and curated, shareable content. Visitors to the website are encouraged to light up the map by registering their commitment to joining the initiative.
Global Launch Day will help church leaders see what may need to be done before the campaign’s peak in September 2027.
“Global Launch Day will help us better understand how to mobilize, equip, and empower our local members,” said Alyssa Truman, communication director for the General Conference.
While some regions of the world have already held launch events, September 5 will mark the initiative's global launch.
Different regions of the church are planning to mark Global Launch Day in various ways.
The South Pacific Division (SPD) is holding a 48-hour continuous prayer vigil across the division to launch OneVoice27. “Before we speak with one voice, we want to pray with one heart,” said Maveni Kaufononga, SPD vice president. “We want to see God’s presence, His guidance, and the power of the Holy Spirit, for without Him we can do nothing."
West-Central Africa Division (WAD) will simultaneously launch OneVoice27 in all local churches in the morning and hold an online meeting with division pastors and elders in the afternoon.
“The excitement is very palpable across the West-Central Africa Division,” said Abraham Bakari, WAD communication director. “Pastors, communication leaders, digital evangelism coordinators, young people, content creators, and church members are preparing enthusiastically for the OneVoice27 global launch.”
“What is especially encouraging is that our members understand that this is not just a social media campaign,” he said. “It is a movement that the technology gap cannot stop because our natural voice can speak to a neighbor or a friend.”
WAD expects to have more than 3,000 content creators registered, having already more than doubled their original goal of 1,000.
“There is a strong sense of anticipation. People are asking, ‘What can I create? What can I post? How can I participate?’ That enthusiasm tells us that the Holy Spirit is at work and OneVoice27 is already a movement.”
Across Europe, members are preparing to take part in the initiative. The Euro-Asia Division (ESD) is also uniting in prayer on September 5. “The task facing the Church today is enormous," said Mikhail Kaminsky, ESD president. “There are over 3 billion people in the world who have never heard the name Jesus.”
The Inter-European Division (EUD) is also encouraging members to take part.
“Digital Mission is not about technology, it is about people using every space, including the digital world, to share their love and hope in Jesus,” said Barna Magyarosi, EUD president, in a video on the division’s website.
The Southern Asia-Pacific Division has made a series of posts on social media, training and educating their members on topics such as the appropriate use of AI when creating assets to share and the types of content to include on Global Launch Days, including authentic stories.
“September 5 is only the beginning of this initiative,” said Truman. “The communication department at the General Conference will produce a video podcast to provide more information and updates on the OneVoice27 initiative, including interviews with church leaders.”
