Boarding house in Ukraine damaged by drone attack

Four drones hit the two main buildings of the Desna Boarding House in Radychiv, Ukraine. The attack occurred at 5:50 am on July 24, 2026. At the time of the attack, there were 15 personnel on the property. The building caught fire as a result of a drone attack, according to Oleksandr Seliverstiv, head of the Novhorod-Siversk Regional Military Administration, via Facebook.

According to Denys Borodyuk, director of Desna, there were no casualties, and utilities are working at this time.

The boarding house has not been functioning since the beginning of 2022.

Desna Boarding House operated as a health and wellness retreat and is a partner institution of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
