Seventh-day Adventist youth in Seles, Cuanza-Sul Province, Angola, marked Youth Week of Prayer with a community outreach initiative that combined service and evangelism.

In a single day, 24 motorbike taxis were mobilized to provide 703 free rides, while 710 evangelistic leaflets were distributed to passengers.

The “Solidarity Motorbike Taxi” initiative brought together members from three church districts in the municipality in a coordinated effort to engage the local community.

Each passenger received a free ride along with a copy of the Five Pillars of Truth booklet. The initiative created opportunities for interaction, as many riders asked about the purpose behind the free service.

According to organizers, the initiative reflects a broader approach to outreach by meeting people in everyday settings. With a municipal population of more than 190,000, similar efforts could significantly expand community engagement over time.

Church leaders said the initiative highlights how practical acts of service can support evangelistic efforts.

Organizers emphasized that outreach can take place beyond traditional settings, demonstrating the church’s presence within the community through simple, intentional actions.
