The Pakistan Union Section (PKU) partnered with Adventist World Radio (AWR) for an evangelistic campaign from September 27 to October 3. The campaign, themed “All Things New: Hope Starts Here,” led to 368 baptisms across 123 churches.
Pastors, lay preachers, Bible teachers, digital missionaries, church elders, and local church members participated in the campaign by leading Bible studies and prayer meetings and engaging in personal outreach and evangelistic activities. Their efforts culminated in simultaneous evangelistic meetings held across the country October 1–3.
In Farooqabad, Northern Section (NPS), Roseller Zamora, AWR360 associate director, delivered messages centered on salvation, hope, and spiritual renewal. Meanwhile, Robert Dulay, AWR360 regional director, led evangelistic meetings in Hyderabad, Southern Section (SPS), encouraging attendees to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ and make personal decisions of faith. PKU and section administrators, local pastors, church elders, and volunteers supported both meetings.
The baptisms followed months of preparation, personal Bible studies, pastoral ministry, and outreach. Those baptized included individuals and whole families who responded to the gospel and chose to join the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
To support newly baptized members, PKU has developed a four-phase follow-up and discipleship plan that runs from late October through December. The first phase will bring pastoral visits and Bible studies to communities in NPS. In November, the second and third phases will focus on discipleship training, prayer, fellowship, and digital missionary engagement. In the final phase in December, ministry teams will visit Karachi, Hyderabad, and surrounding communities in SPS with further nurturing activities planned alongside local church leaders.
Azmat Emmanuel, PKU Communication director, expressed gratitude to AWR and local church members. "Every baptism is a testimony of God's transforming love," he said. “Our responsibility now is to nurture these new believers and help them grow as faithful disciples of Christ.”
