The Nepal Section Women’s Ministries department conducted a series of meetings called "Empowering Women for OneVoice27" in eastern and central Nepal from May 26-30, 2026. The meetings aimed to revive, equip, and mobilize women to participate more actively in God’s mission through united action.
During the meetings, women were encouraged to recognize their role in OneVoice27, a global mission initiative of the Seventh-day Adventist Church that will culminate in September 2027. Leaders emphasized that women play a vital part in sharing the message of Jesus and His second coming through their homes, churches, communities, and digital platforms.
The program highlighted several areas of ministry, including digital evangelism, community outreach, leadership development, prayer, Bible study, and fellowship. Participants were encouraged to use social media and other digital tools to share their faith, testimonies, and messages of hope, while also serving people through practical acts of care and compassion.
Shanti Pokharel, director of the Nepal Section Women’s Ministries department, said, “Through these meetings, visits, and interactions organized by the Women’s Ministries Department, women were encouraged, motivated, and revitalized. It was a joy and a privilege to visit women in different churches across eastern and central Nepal and spend meaningful time with them. They showed great enthusiasm and willingness to uplift Christ in their homes, churches, communities, and neighborhoods. However, they need continued guidance, encouragement, prayer, and support as they carry out His mission.”
The meetings concluded with renewed commitment among participants to support OneVoice27 through prayer, revival meetings, Bible studies, and local church activities. The Nepal Section Women’s Ministries Department plans to continue organizing similar gatherings as part of its preparation for the global initiative.
