The VIII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, held at the Palace of Independence in Astana, Kazakhstan, featured an interactive exhibition titled “Synergy of the Future.” The exhibition highlighted digital innovations that intersect with ethics, spirituality, and cultural values.

Among the tools presented was “Alone with God,” a mobile app developed by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Russia. The app was introduced by Maria Vacheva, director of the Information Department for the Western Russian Union of Adventist Churches, and developer Daniil Filinsky.

Technology and Interfaith Dialogue

The exhibition served as a platform for dialogue among representatives of different religious traditions, researchers, and technology developers. Participants explored how digital solutions might contribute to ethical living and intercultural cooperation in a rapidly changing world.

Eight mobile apps were showcased in total: two developed by Christian organizations, five by Muslim groups, and one Buddhist app. Interactive touchscreens allowed attendees to try the apps directly and view their features.

Organizers said the exhibition aimed to highlight “the importance of innovative digital solutions in the context of global ethics and intercultural interaction,” and to encourage broader cooperation between faith communities and technology creators.
