The Southeast Brazil Union Conference launched the "Come Pray with Me" project on September 4, calling church members to pray at 10am and 3pm every day in support of OneVoice27, a worldwide digital evangelism initiative of the Adventist Church.

According to Dênis Magalhães, director of the Fidelity Ministry for the Southeast Brazil Union Conference, no evangelistic effort can proceed or begin without prayer. "Any evangelistic movement needs to be preceded by the work of the Holy Spirit. And the Holy Spirit is given to us to the extent that we call upon Him in prayer," he said.

Hiram Kalbermatter, president of the Southeast Brazil Union Conference, explained the urgency behind the initiative, "Our territory has more than 40 million people. We want none of them to be able to say that they didn't know or weren't warned that it's time to prepare, because Jesus is about to come."

Kalbermatter also stressed that the strategy should not rely solely on human actions or digital reach. "We won't make a dent in the world if we think we can rely on the strength of our hands and the power of our social networks. Therefore, I call on everyone to pray together at 10am and 3pm," he concluded.
