In a significant milestone for the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Nepal, the long-anticipated Nepal Section office was officially inaugurated on November 20, 2025, in Banepa, Kavrepalanchok.

Leaders say the event marked not only the completion of a new building but also the culmination of a decades-long journey of faith and perseverance.

Since its organization in 1989, the church in Nepal has carried out its mission without a dedicated office, navigating challenges related to religious freedom and legal registration. Leaders say the delay, while difficult, strengthened unity, cultivated patience, and deepened members’ trust in God’s timing.

Officers of the Northern Asia-Pacific Division (NSD), the Nepal Section president, local leaders, and supporters gathered for the inauguration, filling the event with gratitude and celebration. During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, participants declared a new beginning for the Adventist work in Nepal.

“This building is not the result of our plans, but the fruit fulfilled within God’s timetable. The work that God has begun will surely be accomplished,” said NSD president Kang SoonGi, who also pledged that NSD would provide all necessary furniture and office equipment.

Nepalese leaders expressed optimism about the new facility, noting, “This office will further strengthen the growth of the Church, enabling each department to operate more efficiently and systematically.” They added, “This building powerfully demonstrates that faith, perseverance, and a loving community can transform a long-cherished dream into a beautiful reality, and it will serve as a mission center for generations to come.”
