On July 7, 2025, during the 62nd General Conference (GC) Session in St. Louis, Missouri, delegates elected division presidents to lead the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s 13 world divisions and territories for the 2025–2030 quinquennium.

The vote passed 1720 to 113.

Each division president also serves as a General Conference vice president, representing the global church while providing spiritual, strategic, and administrative leadership in their assigned territories. These leaders will help guide mission, education, evangelism, and health outreach efforts across diverse cultural and geographic regions.

The elected division presidents are:

  • Blasious M. Ruguri – East-Central Africa Division (ECD)

  • Mikhail F. Kaminskiy – Euro-Asia Division (ESD)

  • Abner De Los Santos – Inter-American Division (IAD)

  • Barna Magyarosi – Inter-European Division (EUD)

  • G. Alexander Bryant – North American Division (NAD)

  • Soon Gi Kang – Northern Asia-Pacific Division (NSD)

  • Stanley E. Arco – South American Division (SAD)

  • Glenn C. Townend – South Pacific Division (SPD)

  • Harrington S. Akombwa – Southern Africa-Indian Ocean Division (SID)

  • John Victor Chinta – Southern Asia Division (SUD)

  • Roger O. Caderma – Southern Asia-Pacific Division (SSD)

  • Daniel Duda – Trans-European Division (TED)

  • Bassey Udoh - West-Central Africa Division (WAD)

These regional leaders are tasked with strengthening the global movement of the church while addressing the unique needs and mission opportunities in their territories.

The election of division presidents is part of the broader selection process at the GC Session, where delegates from around the world gather every five years for worship, prayer, and organizational decisions impacting the Seventh-day Adventist Church worldwide.
