G. Alexander Bryant, president of the North American Division (NAD) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, met with pastors from the Chesapeake and Allegheny East conferences to pray with and encourage them ahead of Reach Baltimore 2025, a citywide evangelistic initiative.

Baltimore, a major city on the U.S. East Coast, will be the focus of large-scale Adventist outreach programs in the coming weeks.

Reach Baltimore 2025 is a collaborative project led by the Chesapeake Conference, Allegheny East Conference, and the Adventist media ministry It Is Written. The initiative aims to engage the city through community service, educational events, and evangelistic meetings.

Major activities begin later this month, including a free dental and medical clinic at Miracle City church in Baltimore, a biblical archaeology seminar, and the Revelation Today: Hope for Humanity evangelistic series, co-preached by Bryant and It Is Written president John Bradshaw. Two Spanish-language series will also be presented by Robert Costa of It Is Written.

Encouragement for Pastors

During his devotional message, Bryant urged pastors to see Baltimore with Christ’s compassion.

“Jesus loves the cities, and He loves Baltimore because that’s where the people are,” Bryant said.

Bryant reflected on the importance of urban ministry and highlighted Baltimore as a key focus for outreach. He also underscored the need for broad member involvement in order to support the initiative. The meeting concluded with a time of prayer for the upcoming events and for those who will participate.
