During the morning business meeting on July 7 at the 62nd General Conference Session, delegates were urged to take the gospel beyond the walls of the America’s Center.

“We have an incredible opportunity over the next few days to be witnesses here in St. Louis,” said Nelson Ernst, literature evangelism director for Adventist World Radio (AWR).

Ernst shared moving stories of individuals whose lives were touched through simple acts of sharing inspirational literature. In one account, a woman prayed for the courage to share a tract with someone—only to discover he had just asked God for a sign as he contemplated suicide.

Ernst challenged delegates to be “active lights in the community,” seizing every chance to engage with those around them.

Each delegate received a registration bag containing session materials — including a packet of sharing tracts from AWR. These tracts include a QR code, allowing delegates to scan and submit testimonies of their divine appointments while distributing the literature.

AWR is the official radio ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, reaching listeners worldwide, especially in hard-to-access regions.
