Church members across Kiribati will soon receive 1000 newly printed Bible study guides in the Kiribati language, providing a new resource to support Bible studies ahead of Kiribati for Christ.

The 60-page guides will be distributed to churches and local evangelistic teams across the country as preparations continue for the nationwide evangelistic initiative scheduled for August 16 to 29.

Designed specifically for Kiribatian communities, the resources will help members explore and share biblical truths in the local language. They will support churches as they engage their communities ahead of the evangelistic campaign.

Kiribati Mission president Taabua Rokeatau welcomed the availability of quality Bible study resources in the local language.

“These resources are a valuable aid for evangelism in Kiribati. As the Holy Spirit leads people to Christ, these materials help present biblical truths in the language and cultural context that people understand best. We are grateful that these study guides have been prepared specifically for our people and culture,” said Rokeatau.

Rokeatau said resources in the Kiribati language also help build confidence among members conducting Bible studies and provide a practical tool for engaging communities across the islands.

The study guides were produced through a partnership involving Adventist Media and the South Pacific Division People and Culture team, with local leaders describing them as an important resource for strengthening evangelism across Kiribati.
