Germany | APD, EUDnews.

The Adventist television station Hope TV will be available throughout Germany on Vodafone's cable network beginning March 3, 2021. Hope TV thus expands availability to 7.2 million households--14.5 million people--across the country. Hope TV plans to celebrate this event with a live blessing service on March 20 at 10:30 a.m.Click the link below for a short presentation from Hope Media Europe, which runs Hope TV Germany.

"We are delighted that we can now reach even more people in Germany,” said Klaus Popa, chairperson of the board for Hope Media Europe, at the signing of the contract. “Hope TV offers wide-ranging TV programming with hopeful faith and life topics."

Project manager Marc Naumann adds: "Loyal supporters and sponsors are the backbones for the reception of Hope TV. Together, we want to spread hope and bring Jesus into every home.”

In addition to Vodafone's cable network and some other regional cable networks, Hope TV can also be received via satellite (Astra) and IPTV (freenet TV connect). Via its website, hopetv.de, the TV station also offers a live stream service and an extensive media library.

Hope TV has been broadcasting German-language programming since 2004. In 2007, the station moved into its own studios in the newly-built media center in Alsbach-Hähnlein near Darmstadt, and in January 2009, the Hessische Landesanstalt für privaten Rundfunk und neue Medien granted the license for a 24-hour channel. For their 10th anniversary, the name of the TV station was changed from Hope Channel Germany to Hope TV. Hope TV is part of the international Hope Channel family of stations, which was founded in the U.S. in 2003 and now consists of 61 national stations around the world.
