Good Hope Adventist Clinic Receives Top Award in Nursing

In a public event, members of Regional Council III—Metropolitan Lima and the College of Nurses of Peru (CRIII-CEP), represented by the Dean, Rafael Chucos, presented the most prestigious award globally recognized in this profession, "Florence Nightingale's Lamp," under Resolution No. 130-2024 / CRIII-CEP, to the nursing team of the Good Hope Adventist Clinic (CAGH) in recognition of their hard work and careful dedication.

International Prestige

The "Florence Nightingale Lamp" award recognizes professionals who make a tangible difference to the well-being of the population. It is of great importance not only for the prestige it carries internationally but also for the impact it has on the valorization of nursing in Peru, in recognizing the contributions of nurses in the national health system and showing the world the work that is being done in the country.

Professionals who Inspire

This recognition highlights nurses who, in the midst of challenges, are a source of inspiration for new generations of professionals, encouraging them to participate in training and advanced education programs to help improve health care in the country and raise the standards of Peruvian nursing, as key players in health promotion, disease prevention, and primary care.

Recognition ceremony

Master Bany Zárate Vergara, nurse and Nursing Manager at CAGH, had the honor of receiving the award on behalf of her colleagues. This recognition was made in the presence of authorities, including Master Charlles Britis, CAGH Board president; Dr. Sara Muñoz, CAGH General director; Dr. Orfelina Arpasi, Executive director of the Contigo program of the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion, representatives of the Universidad Peruana Unión (UPeU) and guests.
