With 746 baptisms recorded this year, Adventist schools in northern Peru stand out for their profound spiritual impact. Every day, five students or family members choose to be baptized, showing the Educational Network's commitment to the Christian faith. These numbers reflect the Adventist philosophy, which not only focuses on academic training but also on spiritual growth.

A 113-year Legacy in Peru

For 113 years, Adventist Education has been key in forming thousands of young people. Dr. Edgardo Muguerza, leader of Adventist Education for northern Peru, affirms that “Adventist Education not only forms minds, it also transforms lives.” Adventist doctrine, biblical values, and the teachings of Ellen G. White, are pillars in South America, which celebrates 131 years of presence.

Adventist schools have a dual mission: to educate and to save. Each baptism renews the commitment of these institutions to provide an education that transcends the academic field, also encompassing Christian values. For many families, these baptisms reflect the positive influence of Adventist education in their lives.

This year, Adventist schools not only strengthened the faith of their students, but also that of their families and communities with various spiritual programs developed to reach different audiences. With more than 700 people baptized, the missionary work of Adventist Education in northern Peru demonstrates the impact and commitment that each educational institution has with the spiritual development of new generations.
