AdventHealth President and CEO Terry Shaw has been named one of Modern Healthcare’s 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare for 2024, marking continued recognition of Shaw as a transformative leader in the industry.

This prestigious honor celebrates individuals whose leadership, innovation and impact have shaped the health care landscape, as selected by peers and the senior editors of Modern Healthcare.

“Our list of the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare reflects the important contributions of the men and women who have helped shape the industry in 2024,” said Mary Ellen Podmolik, editor-in-chief of Modern Healthcare. “They come from all corners of the industry and their leadership has been felt from the doctor’s office to Capitol Hill. We look forward to these honorees continuing to wield their influence to protect and improve patient care.”

Modern Healthcare highlighted Shaw’s pivotal role in AdventHealth’s ability to attract, retain, and engage its growing workforce.

The 2024 list of Modern Healthcare’s 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare recognizes leaders across various sectors, including providers, government, payers and suppliers. This list was announced shortly before Shaw shared about his upcoming retirement, which will be effective July 2025.
