Women's Evangelism Celebrates Decisions for Christ

Hundreds of baptisms were registered in São Paulo State during the Women's Ministry evangelism week.

With the theme "Turn the Page - He rewrites history," the Women's Ministries Women's Evangelism Week took place in Adventist churches almost all over South America from May 27–June 3. In the state of São Paulo, the week counted on the intense participation of women in pulpits and other missionary fronts. Throughout the period, hundreds of baptisms, investiture in the Women in Mission project, and people interested in studying the Bible were registered.

Central São Paulo Conference (APaC)

Dozens of women were reached throughout the territory of the Central São Paulo Conference, which was attended by Telma Brenha, Women's Ministries director for the state of São Paulo. To reach more people, small groups, Bible classes, and other evangelism initiatives were promoted in local churches.

West São Paulo Conference (APO)

In the territory of the West São Paulo Conference alone, there were 214 preaching points. In São José do Rio Preto, women's evangelism was led by Sara Lima, director of the Women's Area of the Ministerial Association (Afam) for the state. About 500 people attended the preaching evenings. Nice was one of them. After studying the Bible for a year, she decided to be baptized during the special week.

In the Southwest São Paulo Conference, all churches participated in women's evangelism, which resulted in the baptism of 170 people who studied the Bible. In addition, 880 women accepted God's call to serve and were invested to be Women in Mission.

São Paulo Valley Conference (APV)

The Women's Evangelism Week marked the closing of the second season of evangelism taking place throughout the São Paulo Valley Conference's territory. Hundreds of churches participated in the programs throughout the week. In the district of São Sebastião, on the north coast, a big celebration resulted in 47 baptisms.

In the southeastern region of São Paulo, the special week was marked by women who are dedicated to the mission. At the Central Adventist Church in Diadema, Luana, who had been studying the Bible for some time, decided to be baptized. Together with her mother and son, she surrendered her life to Jesus, and after the baptismal ceremony, she became a Woman in Mission.

At the closing of the Women's Evangelism Week in the conference territory, dozens of people were reached through messages and testimonies during services at local churches.

The women of the South São Paulo Conference were in charge of the programs and reached out to other women from the communities through actions in the homes. At the Adventist Church office for the territory, the employees received guests during the period. In addition to investitures, the program was marked by baptisms.

East São Paulo Conference (APL)

More than 330 women were involved in the East São Paulo Conference's Women's Evangelism Week, which concluded with hundreds of baptisms and investitures. On the occasion were celebrated the decisions of Marina and Daniel, who were visited by two Women in Mission through Hope Impact, an annual literature distribution project. During Holy Week, they agreed to study the Bible, and at the close of Women's Evangelism Week, they gave their lives to Christ.
