World events, the coronavirus pandemic and a general climate of global insecurity have aroused the interest of thousands in relation to worldwide events and their relationship to the Bible. Many have expressed serious questions regarding the future and how to be prepared for what is to come.

Recently, leaders at Safeliz, one of the publishing houses maintained by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Spain, noticed a growing number of people expressing the same concerns regarding the end of time. Based on that, they came up with a project to help them find answers.

Safeliz organized an online conference exploring final events, which will be offered free of charge in English, Portuguese and Spanish between January 23-31, 2021. The initiative brings together Adventist theologians, professors, and evangelists from all over the world, such as Jacques Doukhan from Andrews University; Alberto Timm from The White Estate; John Bradshaw from It Is Written; Doug Batchelor from Amazing Facts; as well Mark Finley, Ty Gibson, Alejandro Bullon, and many others (see full list here:https://www.safelizbibles.com/finalevents/).

"The study of final events is fascinating, but there is a very big risk of speculating or misinterpreting something, specially when there isn’t enough or a complete revelation on certain topics,” says Mario Martinelli, CEO of Safeliz and one of the organizers of the program. "For this reason, it’s important for church members to study this topic with much prayer and with an open heart, to learn, and to avoid misinterpretations."

In Light of the Bible:

The entire content of the conference is based on two main pillars: the Bible and inspired texts written by Ellen White, who received light in relation to this period of history. In addition, it relies on the practical knowledge of the presenters, who have been studying and preaching about these events for many years.

Organized by “Safeliz Bibles,” the Bible division of Safeliz, the initiative includes the participation and partnership of experts from the General Conference, including theologians from the Biblical Research Institute (BRI).

The conference has four objectives:

- To offer security that God is in control of the times, and that everything will take place according to His designs.

- To motivate Seventh-day Adventists to fulfill the mission to preach the gospel of the kingdom throughout the world, so the end may come (Matthew 24:14).

- To foster among God’s people a spiritual revival, reformation, and preparation, so we can face the final events with confidence in God’s leading.

- To fill Seventh-day Adventists with hope that “…For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry” (Hebrews 10:37).

Additional Details About the Conference:

Over nine days, 24 topics related to final events will be presented, such as the Three Angels’ Messages; the Sunday Law; the Sealing of God’s People; the Last Seven Plagues, and Christ's Second Coming. Recorded in an interview format, the speakers explore the main issues of each subject and some of the doubts regarding the events. In the future, Safeliz hopes to make the content available in other languages besides English, Spanish and Portuguese.

People from more than 60 countries on every continent have already registered. The expectation is that by the beginning of the conference, more than 90 countries will be represented, reaching around 100 thousand people worldwide. "I am sure that God is allowing the development of science and technology to be a powerful tool in the hands of all of us, to bring the gospel to all tribes, languages, and people. Thus, the mission entrusted to us as a Church, and individually, can be completed and Jesus can return,” said Martinelli.

The online conference on final events, which gives access to the 24 videos, is open for free registration until January 21. For additional information and to register, please visit www.safelizbibles.com/finalevents/.
