In a landmark collaboration, Penang Adventist Hospital (PAH) has joined forces with Penang Football Club (PFC) as their preferred medical provider. While PAH is not sponsoring the club, it has been selected as the go-to hospital for medical care and treatment for PFC players.

The announcement comes as PFC gears up for the 2024–25 season, with all players having undergone comprehensive pre-season assessments and health screenings at PAH. These evaluations aim to ensure that the players are in peak physical condition as they prepare to represent their club on the field.

Players from PFC underwent rigorous medical checkups at the Adventist Wellness Clinic, followed by consultation sessions with Dr. Chow Sze Loon, Consultant Public Health Physician & Occupational Health Doctor at PAH. This concerted effort underscores the commitment of both PAH and PFC to prioritize the health and well-being of the players.

Moreover, PAH will continue to provide ongoing support to PFC throughout the upcoming season, offering quality medical treatment for any injuries or physio-related concerns that may arise during training or matches.

Expressing gratitude for the collaboration, PAH officials stated, "We are honored to be chosen as the preferred hospital to care for the health of the players at Penang Football Club. This underscores our commitment to providing superior medical care and support to athletes as they pursue their sporting goals."

The collaboration between PAH and PFC marks a significant milestone in sports medicine, emphasizing the importance of comprehensive healthcare for athletes at all levels of competition. As the 2024/25 season kicks off, both organizations are poised to set new standards in player welfare and medical excellence.

The Penang Adventist Hospital is celebrating its 100th year of healing and caring and is holding various programs all throughout the year.
