On March 12–19, 2022, an evangelistic program called “Jesus Is Your Hero” was held in Yerevan. The speaker was Lucian Christescu, an evangelist from Romania.

For Cristescu, Armenia holds a special place in his heart because his mother was Armenian. He is a pastor, a doctor of theology and a professor at the university.

A poster with an invitation to the gospel program was put up right on Nar Dos Street. A large number of booklets and invitations were distributed in the communities of Yerevan, and a sharable invitation was posted on Facebook. Program announcements were also presented through our Hope Media Armenia TV channel.

Throughout the week, Pastor Christescu held a field school every morning for pastors, department heads, and elders, presenting a wide range of topics, such as time management, leadership qualities, pastoral qualities, evangelical methods, homiletics, etc., and in the evening, at the Nar Dos Church, he held interesting evangelistic meetings for all the churches in Yerevan.

The program included wonderful, heart-touching psalms, a combined choir, and also solo performances, all to the glory of God.

During the program, a large number of different books were distributed, but the most important gift, for the most faithful visitors, was the book The Galilean, authored by Christescu.

A fairly large number of interested people came to the meetings. Despite the snow and rain, people happily came every evening.

Many people responded to the last call, and ten people responded to the call for baptism. They will continue their Bible studies in local churches and hopefully, by summer, they will have made a covenant with the Lord through baptism.

Praise the Lord for His blessings and wonderful way to salvation for every person!
